New Soundgarden album is "mostly done" says Chris Cornell

Soundgarden returned to the studio earlier this year to record t
heir first record since 1996.
In a recent interview with Billboard.com, frontman Chris Cornell revealed that the record is "Mostly done. We just need to finish a couple of songs and mix it, so that will be happening probably over the holidays."
Speaking about the record and its sound the singer who is currently promoting his current solo release "Songbook" (Out later this month) says fans won't get to hear any sneak peeks just set but says "I think it's definitely a Soundgarden record."
Talking about working with his band once again Cornelll says, "It sounds to me exactly like it should sound - like we took a break and we got together and we're making an album."
"It's very refreshing and it feels to me like the next logical step in Soundgarden, creatively." He adds.
