Van Halen will not be appearing at this years Grammy nominations

The Van Halen rumour mill has been in full spin for a while now and, last week's 'news' of VH appearing at the Grammy nominations show on Nov.30 to announce 'reunion' plans has now been exposed as just that, a rumour.
However, you would be forgiven for believing that the story had some sort of weight behind it, especially when you consider the source was an official twitter account for the Grammys!
The tweet read as follows:
"Who do you predict the reuniting band will be @ GRAMMYnoms? Does this hint make you wanna ‘Jump’ & ‘Dance The Night Away?"
Suggesting that the band would be making an appearance at the upcoming nominations show it was enough to send the blogosphere into overdrive. However, Rolling Stone magazine have now reported that the Grammy appearance is not happening, according to a reliable source.
