Sting can't foresee another world tour for The Police

Fans of The Police hoping to catch the new wave trio one last time on the world stage will be disappointed to discover that the group's vocalist, Sting can't foresee the band reforming, reports Gibson
The influential bassist has revealed in an interview with Billboard that, although he is proud of what the group achieved, he doesn't see a reason for them to 'open it again', he said:
"You know, it's something I am very proud of but I’m not sure there would be a reason to open it again except for nostalgic reasons, and I think we did that" in 2007-2008, he said. "I thought we did it very successfully. The timing was perfect. Everybody was happy to see us. So you know say, ‘OK, let’s close the book..."
Sting is currently promoting his '25 Years' box set and a 'Best of 25 Years' single disc set along with a free app, available on iTunes, which offers a digital documentary of Sting's solo career as well as interview clips, photos, memorabilia and concert footage.
