The Rolling Stones get closer to a decision about their 50th Anniversary

Fri, 25 Nov 2011

Despite numerous rumours and speculation floating around about the upcoming 50th Anniversary of The Rolling Stones no decision has yet been made by the members about just how they'll be celebrating the mile stone.

A top industry source recently revealed to Rolling Stone Magazine that the band will be heading out on tour to mark the 50th year of The Stones.

The magazine also reports the band have been speaking to veteran Stones promoter Michael Cohl (AEG Live/Live Nation) about putting the tour together.

"I don't see why in the world the Stones can't put together some kind of show next year," says Richards about the pending decision. "I'd almost count on it. It doesn't have to be the whole spectacle bullshit again, but we've got to find our own way through this."
