Plans for a David Bowie musical could be put on hold as the singer has reportedly denied giving his permission to use his songs in the production.
The Guardian newspaper reported yesterday that David Bowie had given his permission for the space-age fantasies style futuristic musical to use his music for their show.

Deep Singh, writer of the musical told the newspaper, "We could not really believe it when they gave us permission. His people had warned us that it was very unlikely that he would be interested and that he had been asked many times before."
The musical is set to feature around 20 songs from the legendary musician and scheduled to open at the Indig02 venue at the O2 Arena in London next March.
However, Today NME reported that Bowie's official spokesman has denied the singer has given his permission for the musical to use his material.
