Motley Crue confirm Las Vegas Residency

Last month it was revealed that Motley Crue would become the first hard rock band to hold a short-term residency on the Las Vegas Strip.

Last night the rockers announced on the "Piers Morgan Tonight" chat show on CNN that they'd signed the deal for the residency at Hard Rock Hotel's "The Joint" running in four nights in a week, for 3 weeks in February 2012.


"We're the first hard rock band ever to have a residency in Las Vegas. There's been bands like SANTANA and ELTON JOHN and these kinds of acts, but for us… MÖTLEY CRÜE, we're all about theater and about over-the-top stage show, so it's a perfect fit for us. So we're really, really excited." frontman Vince Neil said during the announcement.

Drummer Tommy Lee added, "When you think of The Joint, you see the stage and there's the chairs, and we're really going to change the appearance of that and perform from different areas. We really want the audience to be in the show, not watching the show."
