Guns N Roses are officially to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Since the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees were revealed at the end of summer, Guns N Roses have been among those expected to be inducted in at the 27th Annual Ceremony next April 14th (2012).

It has been made official that the band, who were nominated in their first year of eligibility will be inducted in at the ceremony.  

For the past few months there has been speculation as to who would be at the ceremony for the induction, considering how many line up changes have been made since "Appetite For Destruction", the biggest question on most fans lips is... will Slash and Axl Rose attend together?

"It's a great honor," said former guitarist Gilby Clarke, "The band deserves it. It was a long time coming."

Only remaining member in the current band line up Axl Rose said if they were inducted he didn't "Know what it means in terms of me with the old band and the old lineup. If we were to be invited, I don't know what they would ask of me. It's up in the air."

Time will tell, the ceremony will take place on April 14th 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio.
