The Darkness announce 2012 US Tour & Outdoor UK summer 2012 show

The Darkness, who reformed earlier this year will release a new album in 2012 and head out on the road in the US in attempt to re-establish themselves into the North American music scene.

Touring for the first time in the US & Canada since 2004, the band previously toured and played a number of UK, European and even Japan dates this year.

The Darkness also plan to release their currently untitled third album in Spring 2012, the follow up to their 2005 hit "One Way Ticket to Hell... And Back".

Feb. 10: Detroit, MI (St. Andrew's Hall)
Feb. 11: Chicago, IL (Metro)
Feb. 12: Minneapolis,MN (First Avenue)
Feb. 15: Denver, CO (Summit)
Feb. 17: Las Vegas, NV (House of Blues)
Feb. 18: Phoenix, AZ (Celebrity Theatre)
Feb. 19: Los Angeles, CA (House of Blues)
Feb. 21: San Francisco, CA (Fillmore)

The band announced last month also that they'll play a 'close to home' outdoor show next summer in Thetford Forest, Suffolk.
