Green Days American Idiot musical comeing to the UK

Green Days American Idiot musical will tour the UK in 2012, touring 8 cities starting in October through to December.
 
The musical which finished its long New York Broadway run early in 2011 with Green Day frontman Billy Joel Armstrong taking on a role in the live show.

"We're excited to be bringing the US stage production of American Idiot to the UK and Ireland," said Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. "We played to some of the most insane crowds when we toured the album there, and we can't wait for our friends across the pond to see the musical."

Birmingham Alexandra Theatre (26 - 30)
London HMV Hammersmith Apollo (December 3 - 8)
