U2, Bon Jovi & Take That had highest grossing tours of 2011

This year (2011) has proved to be a fruitful year for the live music scene with a new record being set by U2 for the highest grossing & most-widely-attended tour of all time.

The list of the top 25 tours boast a diverse mix of genres & generations featuring pop sweethearts amongst battle hardened rockers, rappers & divas.

However, it was the Irish stadium rockers that topped the list hanks to their 360° Tour which grossed just over $293 million after performing to roughly 2.8 million people, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
