Axl Rose talks possibility of a Guns N Roses original line up reunion
Fri, 23 Dec 2011
With all the speculation and buzz surrounding Guns N Roses and their original line up "will they wont they reunite" for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction next y
ear, frontman Axl Rose has hinted that he'd only want to reunite with bassist Duff McKagan and guitarist Slash.
Speaking this week to the LA TIMES, Rose says hypothetically "the only thing that would make it would be Duff and Slash," talking about the possibility of a reunion for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The singer then adds, "It’s nothing against Izzy and it’s nothing against Steven, or anything like that. Steven may want it, but these guys I’m working with right now, they work really hard and it’s hard work. I’ve toured with the other guys and I’ve also seen what they’ve done since, and I just know the difficulties."
"I don’t have an excitement to work with people that joined in the "Illusion" time. There’s behind the scenes that was really, really difficult there with different ones. So it’s not really even a full reunion." he continues to say.
It seems even if the 'reunion' was to happen a full reunion isn't in Axl's mind.
Guns N Roses will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14th 2012, in the bands first year of eligibility, 25 years after releasing "Appetite for Destruction".
