The European distributors of the Stetsbar electric guitar vibrato system are excited to announce the launch of their YouTube competition to find the best original vibrato-infused video from guitarists in Europe and beyond.

For the lucky winner, first prize is a Stetsbar equipped Gordon-Smith GS1.60 solid bodied, single cutaway guitar as featured in the demonstration video– a combination that would cost over £600 to buy. 2 runner-up prizes are also available.

The competition opens for submissions on Monday September 5th 2011 and closes at Midnight on Wednesday November 30th, 2011 with competitions entrants responding to the competition video accessed via Madison and Fifth’s website

The judges, including Eric Stets CEO of Stets Metal Arts and inventor of the Stetsbar, will evaluate the creativity, style and content in the submitted videos with originality and professional presentation playing a major part in the decision.

Stetsbar is the modern, professional, linear tremolo system that retro fits to stop tail, hard tail, Tele and Strat style guitars without any modification - no new holes, no routing! Hi-tec micro roller bearings combine with a bridge that moves with the trem to give the Stetsbar unrivalled pitch range and stability for its class, coupled with an extremely smooth up and down action. With a straight forward, rapid fit to guitars like the Gibson Les Paul, SG, ES335, Flying V, Fender Telecaster, Stratocaster and many more, Stetsbar is the vibrato of choice for professional and amateur guitarists worldwide and - with the OEM version - for guitar builders who need the best.

Established for over 25 years, Gordon-Smith Guitars are one of the longest running contemporary guitar companies in England, producing some of the world’s finest hand-built custom guitars. The Stetsbar equipped GS1.60 solid bodied electric guitar, with a satin finished cherry sunburst cedar body, mahogany neck and dot inlayed 22 fret rosewood fingerboard is an exquisite example. This beautiful guitar is also loaded with a single GSG humbucker with coil tap facilities.
