Van Halen play first show since 2008 in New York City plus new North American Tour dates!

Last night Van Halen took to the stage to play for 250 invited guests at New York's Cafe Wha?
Fansite Van Halen News Desk, who were among those invited to the event, had previously reported late last night that the 45 minute set would be streamed live on the venue's Ustream account - unfortunately this did not happen and fans hoping to tune in for a glimpse of the first show together since 2008.

The new Van Halen album scheduled for a February 7th (February 6th UK) release date was revealed as called "A Different Kind of Truth" by singer David Lee Roth. The first single has been promised for January 10th 2012.
