Metallica classic declared top-selling album of last 20 years

Metallica's self-titled break-out album, also known as the 'Black Album', has been announced as the top-selling album of the last two decades, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The album was first released in 1991 and features classics such as 'Enter Sandman', 'Nothing Else Matters' & 'Wherever I May Roam'. In the last 20 years the album has sold more than 15 million copies in the U.S alone.

On November 10, 2011, Lars Ulrich revealed (on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show) that Metallica will be playing the album, in its entirety, at Download 2012.
