Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi diagnosed with Lymphoma

Black Sabbath announced today that sadly guitarist Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with Lymphoma.

In the statement on the bands websites and social networking pages the band says the guitarist is working with his doctors to get the best treatment plan and reassure fans he is in good spirits whilst determined to make a full recovery.

The band have begun work on their first album in 33 years in Los Angeles, but will move their work to the UK to continue to work with Tony on the album during his recovery.
