Rory Gallagher's first albums to be reissued

Sony Music have announced that the first 6 records by Rory Gallagher will be re-issued to celebrate the 40 years since the start of the late musicians solo career.

In a press release on the official Rory Gallagher website it was confirmed that the first 6 albums will be re-mastered and released on CD, Digital Download and Vinyl formats.  

"The man who changed my musical life was Rory Gallagher, I picked up a guitar because of him." Johnny Marr is quoted as saying of the celebrated guitarist.

The CD and Digital releases are available now, and the Vinyl versions will follow on February 2nd.
