Sharon Osbourne denies rumour that she fired Bill Ward from Black Sabbath reunion
Thu, 09 Feb 2012
By now, most people have heard the news that the Black Sabbth "o
riginal line up" is a bit up in air after drummer Bill Ward released a statement earlier this month to explain his position in the band.
Stating in his blog at www.billward.com he said, "I am unable to continue unless a "signable" contract is drawn up; a contract that reflects some dignity and respect toward me as an original member of the band."
The next day the band posted on their sites that they would continue recording without Bill Ward, but were saddened to hear that Bill declined to participate in their plans.
Rumours then circulated that Ozzy Osbourne's wife/manager had fired the drummer from the bands reunion line up but has taken to her Twitter to address the rumours stating, "I am not in any position to hire or fire anyone in Black Sabbath. I don't manage the band, I mange my husband."
The rest of the band are currently in England recording without Bill Ward.
