Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx will soon be able to add actor to his rock-star resume thanks to his role in an upcoming indie film.
The film in question is entitled 'Shoot'er' and is being directed by P.R Brown, who has worked on music videos for Motley Crue, Stone Sour, Slipknot, Korn & Godsmack.
The veteran video director, who is also a long time friend of the band, is looking to raise $44,000 via Kickstarter the online threshold pledge system for funding creative projects.
Sixx will play an 'adulterous scoundrel' in the proposed short film, which will also star Trent Ford and Sarah McNeilly.
According to the ‘Shoot’er’ Kickstarter page, the film "explores the fine line between being human and fulfilling your objectives," and promises "a good tale with a hell of twist." Sixx’s character isn’t named, but is described as "the adulterous scoundrel."
