Rolling Stones issue second concert recording through official archive
Wed, 01 Feb 2012
Following on from their much-anticipated 'The Brussels Affair', The Rolling Stones have now issued their second concert recording through their official archive website, reports UltimateClassicRock
The latest edition to the archive, which was posted online yesterday (Jan.31), is the 'Hampton Coliseum: Live 1981' which is a digital only collection that documents the band's Dec.18, 1981, concert at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA.
The concert was part of the final leg of the Stone's tour in support of their 16th (British) & 18th (American) studio album, 'Tattoo You', and was another recording frequently bootlegged by fans and collectors throughout the 80's and 90's.
Although ’Hampton Coliseum’ was announced yesterday, as of press time it hasn’t yet been posted on the Stones Archives. It can, however, be purchased for $4.99 for the whole thing (or 99 cents per track) at Android Market.
