Willie Nelson returns to Sony Records for a 5 album record deal

In a post on his official website yesterday, Legacy Recordings confirmed that country music legend Willie Nelson had returned to Sony for a new 5 album deal.

In the announcement at willienelson.com its confirmed "Artist Comes Home To Sony Music Entertainment With Upcoming Releases to Include New Recorded Material & New Archival Titles Personally Curated By Willie Nelson!"

I'm really happy to be back home with Sony Music. We have been partners for many years; all the way back to Pamper and Tree Music. We share a great history, and I'm looking forward to many more years together,” says Willie Nelson in the press release.

A new album from Willie Nelson is expected for release in Spring 2012.
