Fri, 03 Feb 2012
Foo Fighters head Dave Grohl is reportedly working on a comedy series for US television network FX, according to LoudWire
The renowned musician is working on the show with comedian Dana Gould, who spent seven years writing on The Simpsons. Gould approached the singer, guitarist and drummer because he is self proclaimed 'super-fan' of the Nirvana man's music.
According to Deadline, the show will focus on a rock band on the cusp of breaking, however, the band are dogged with the usual tribulations of in-house fighting & 'interpersonal dynamics' - so they seek the help of a trained professional in order to help get them through it. The band end up being counselled by a misanthropic couple's therapist from Agoura on the brink of divorce.
In addition to Gould and Grohl, executive producing the project are 3 Arts’ Tom Lassally and Dave Becky and Bill Gerber of Gerber Pictures. Gould previously wrote, executive produced and starred in the 2010 ABC pilot Nolan Knows Best.
