Paul McCartney to be honoured at MusiCares Person of the Year Gala

Paul McCartney will be honoured on Friday night as MusiCares "Person of the Year".

At the event during GRAMMY week in Los Angeles, the Gala will feature a star studded concert featuring performances from McCartney himself plus other musicians including Duane Eddy, Foo Fighters, Neil Young with Craqzy Horse, Coldplay and a host of other Grammy nominees.

The event will also see the cast of Cirque du Soleil's "Love" Beatles tribute show perform live to help celebrate McCartney's exceptional artistic achievements and philanthropic work.

The day before, Paul McCartney will appear at the Hollywood Walk of Fame where his star will be placed with the stars of his fellow bandmates outside the Capitol Records Tower.
