Linkin Park debut new single "Burn it Down" and announce fifth album details

This morning, Linkin Park unveiled the first single to come from the Californian bands fifth studio album due out in June.

Speaking recently to Kerrang! magazine, Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington revealed the new album "will be more familiar to people than 'A Thousand Suns' was" he also admitted the bands fourth album was the bands way of going "bonkers" and trying out something new.

Linkin Park have also announced the first release details for their fifth studio album, entitled "Living Things" with a trailer on their official website at www.linkinpark.com.



Frontman Mike Shinoda yesterday, in a post on his personal website, explained the new album is "All about getting back to the real “hybrid theory” — not the album with that name, but the idea that the six guys in our band have drastically different tastes in music, and the blending of all those sounds into one is exactly what we built our band upon."


"Living Things" by Linkin Park will be released June 25th (UK)/ 26th (US), the new single "Burn It Down" is out now.
