Lenny Kravitz to release "Mama Said" reissue with 21 bonus tracks

Lenny Kravitz will re-release his 1991 hit album "Mama Said" as a deluxe edition reissue this summer.

The Deluxe Edition of "Mama Said" will include 21 bonus tracks, many previously unreleased by Kravitz and is set for release on June 4th(UK)/5th(US).

Speaking to Billboard.com, Kravitz says of the previously unreleased material added to the release, "You forget about all these things. Then you listen and you're like, 'Oh, man, wow!' These were things I didn't have time to finish, or I didn't feel they were right for that moment. 

I was tempted to finish them off and put vocals on them and whatnot, but I said, 'Y'know what, man -- no. Let it be what it was, from that time. Don't bring this into this time period.' But, yeah, it's interesting to find that stuff."
