Got the Week 1 dvd this week and I really like its structure and pace. However it needs a TAB booklet to accompany the lessons.... otherwise you have to keep rewinding the dvd to see what Danny is doing and its getting very annoying!! Not sure I will buy the rest of the series until this is resolved.

Does it have tabs? Please answer me as soon as you can.

I'd like to get this course, but I would like to know if it comes with a TAB booklet or if there is any way to print out the tabs (from a pdf file...).

Seems like many people are asking this question. So, LickLibrary please let us know.

If there is no tab booklet included, please make a simple pdf download available and I promise you'll gonna sell thousands of these 6 week guitar courses.

    Thanks a lot.

What comes with the DVD? Are there any Jam Tracks that come with the DVD?

  • #9 Nigel Hughes (Friday August 20, 2010 @ 11:45)

No need for tabs on this, it helps your ears to tune in a lot faster if there's no tabs, you learn to work things out for yourself which has to be a huge aim of any musician. Sure you've to rewind a few times, how much effort does that take?? Great series, learning lots, great teacher with a great attitude.

I have week 1 so far very satisfied. Danny explains in detail so I see no need for tabs. I have only been playing for a short period of time but this method has taught me a lot in a even shorter period of time. very satisfied. will purchase the rest of the course.

I bought the whole set of 6 and am now on video 6. This is an incredible course and Danny is a great teacher. I've been playing for many years and I wish I could have had it when I was a teenager. 1 is not too challenging, 2 is a step up, 3 is another step up, 4 is another step up, 5 is ...I can't believe I'm playing Satriani! 6 is... I can't believe I'm playing Van Halen! I will finish it in six weeks and a couple of days. I will go back and review it and memorize the licks. AWESOME.

This is my second review of this course. After completing all six of the videos, I was wondering what to tackle next. I have already bought the Modes ( I plan on doing them soon), but I found something else and tried it, and to my extreme satisfaction, I am able to play it, THANKS to this course giving me a foundation to build upon. I bought “Joe Satriani Legendary Licks” and have already learned The Crush of Love and Always With Me. I plan on working on the rest of the songs and also the "Satriani Classic Songs" set as well. These two sets are interesting... I noticed that Lick Library does not feature them prominently. The two sets seem to have been made in 2005 and 2006. There are 6 songs on each one (instead of 5), but there is not a Performance or Backing Track like on most of the other sets put our later. It’s not a big deal. The songs are great. Also, the sets have Legendary Licks on the cover, but when you view them, there is the familiar Lick Library sign on the wall. I have wondered how to decode Satriani ever since I first heard him in the late 80's and been to half a dozen of his concerts. I'm glad I found these two sets.
