Guthrie Govan's profile

Another guitar star, Guthrie has recently shot to super stardom on the guitar scene, despite being one of the top names on the UK circuit since winning Guitarist of the Year way back in 1993.

Aside from his residency with Chelmsford based jazz fusion band The Fellowship, Guthrie has been around the world with his solo band (Erotic Cakes), Asia, GPS, The Young Punx, Dizzee Rascal and Steve Wilson. Hes a respected guitar player who's made the cover of Guitar World magazine in recent years and that's before the formation of The Aristocrats and his move from Suhr guitars to Fender/Charvel.

Guthrie's input at Licklibrary is, understandably, limited due to just how in demand he is, but for over 10 years now he's had a connection to LickLibrary and Total Accuracy and his web lessons and live webcast are still some of the most popular things on the site.
