    Hi Stuart,

First I would like compliment you on your Latin Rock - Santana - DVD.

I really like it and enjoy practicing with it. One thing, however, that I thought was missing, was on how to achieve the so desired Santana sound.

As you mentioned a lot originates from the playing style. But I guess gear, amps settings and so on must also be important.

What kind of amp did you use in this DVD and how did you set it?

Furthermore, to my surprise you used a Stratocaster for the performance.

What kind of pick-ups where those? And was there any hidden circuitry in the guitar? Please could you disclose more on the gear you were using?

And please could you provide some information in general on how to get the different Santana sounds?

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards,

    Hi Stuart,

I've been studying basing on your lessons and material since a couple of years and I have been able to improve much more then I was before. I would like to thank you (and all the colleagues from LL) for the help You provided to me! Recently I bought the "Dual Fusion" DVD, which I found very interesting and I liked the "spontaneity" of the approach. Unfortunately I've not been able to find in it the backng tracks, that would be very usefull to get the most out of it. Is there a way to get them ?

Graet job and all the best

    ciao Daniele
