My only issue with this is that Richard hardly moves his individual fingers so for a beginner (6 months under the belt) it can be difficult to follow which fingers are hitting the strings. A tab book with the DVD would help.

Richard packs a LOT of content into a dvd tutorial. Although I'd prefer a closer look at his right hand picking techniques and from a slightly lower angle, his presentation style and descriptions are superb. He is also very encouraging. It is a pleasure to watch a real pro do his thing and describe it so clearly. Very motivational. I cannot imagine taking guitar lessons being any more helpful - what a bargain!!
