This Blues Lead Guitar Learning Path will suit players who know their blues scale and a few licks but really want to create some new and more authentic sounding blues guitar solos and licks. We start off with a full exploration of how to mix major & minor blues sounds to get an instantly bluesy vibe. This leads us to a look at a classic BB King solo, Eric Clapton style licks and the famous BB King blues scale position. You will level up your phrasing during this Path too, plus learn all about double stops and microtonal bends (those quirky string bends all the greats use!). Finally you will graduate the Learning Path with a study of Hendrix’s first solo from the essential blues track Red House.
