Alex Machacek - Jazz Fundamentals - Easy Jazz Chords - Part Three - Guitar Lesson
Guitar lesson for this song by Alex Machacek
In the third part of this jazz guitar lesson Alex shows you how to play modern sounding chord voicings in the style of Allan Holdsworth and Wayne Krantz. Alex takes a different approach to building guitar chords from an A dorian map on a single string. This will give you a whole new vocabulary of ‘fusion‘ sounding guitar chords beyond standard shapes whilst highlighting the sound of the Dorian mode. This is an essential music theory lesson for any advancing guitarist.
