For the first section of this modern sounding guitar jam track, use D Dorian (C major) combined with D minor pentatonic and blues scales. Section two transistions to D natural minor, so switch gears to D Aeolian (F major) or stay with D minor pentatonic and blues scales. Be careful of chord two in this section (A7#5), this briefly switches to D harmonic minor.
