Cameron Allen Guitar Lessons

One of the USA‘s most promising up-and-comers, guitarist/composer Cameron Allen began his musical journey early in life. After receiving his first electric guitar for his sixth birthday, he spent his formative years composing, playing, and recording instrumental music. After years of performing and recording with various projects, he attended the Atlanta Institute of Music, where he received the Merit Scholarship and graduated with honours in 2010. In 2012, he garnered attention with the release of his album, Between The Lines, which can be described as a true “fusion” project – a genre-defying, stimulating sonic mosaic of rock, jazz, classical, funk, and metal influences glued together by rich arrangements and lush textures, garnished with enough guitar gymnastics to satisfy even the most die-hard shred aficionados. Cameron made even more waves in the international guitar community when he won the worldwide Next BendNote Talent Competition for guitarists by performing his original composition, “Jackknife on a Hairpin”, in front of a live panel of judges in Paris, France in December 2012! Since then, Cameron has toured numerous times in Europe, Canada, and the United States with the Sixxis, supporting such bands as the Winery Dogs (Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan, Richie Kotzen), Spock’s Beard, Ministry, and Riverside. In 2014 he placed runner up in the Guitar Idol 4 competition in London, England! He released his album, Ex Nihilo in January of 2017. Cameron is currently an instructor at the Atlanta Institute of Music, and remains in high demand as a performer, composer, session musician, and educator.
