Get It On Guitar Lesson
Explore the timeless glam rock anthem "Get It On" by T. Rex with master guitarist Michael Casswell in this detailed Lick Library tutorial. Casswell breaks down every aspect of Marc Bolan's iconic guitar work, from the catchy main riff to the song’s bluesy lead licks and rhythmic strumming. With his expert guidance, you'll learn how to capture the swaggering groove of this 1970s classic, focusing on the open G tuning and slide techniques that Bolan used to create that distinct, loose rock 'n' roll vibe. Michael also demonstrates key aspects of tone and dynamics, showing you how to dial in the crunchy yet melodic sound that makes this track a staple for guitarists. Perfect for intermediate players, this lesson will walk you through each section of the song, including the classic pentatonic-based solo, giving you all the tools to play this rock hit with authenticity and confidence.
